We are running two rigs both with EFI's. Once on plane we back off and can't complain about the mileage. The Opti-max run by a buddy of mine does get slightly better mileage than I do going slower speeds and he runs a pretty good pace. I ran my 225 on a 21' Triton for 6 trips on smaller up north lakes, and went to bring tank back to 1/2 with (non-oxygenated) and put 48$ in her and was over where I started. I'm happy with that average for sure. Having stop & wide open for speeds will suck gas. If you want mileage back off on the Hotfoot. Makes a huge difference.
