Location: Stevens Point, WI		The Mercury Optimax and Forstrokes are both great choices. The Opti will be better on gas, speed, and holeshot. The Fourstrokes will be quieter and you won't have to add oil, but you'll lose a little on top end and holeshot. If it were me, I'd go with the Optimax. The noise difference isn't that big a deal, they've really quieted them down a lot over the years!
