My 334c did/does the same thing. Some days are worse than others. I did the update, and if anything (aside from adding some un-needed menu options), it got a bit worse. My GPS position error is rarely less than 100' now. Today, over 2.5 hours, there was more time that I didn't have a signal than time that I did. At one time during the morning, it had me positioned up on the road, about 400 yards west of where I actually was casting, doing 16 mph - so it's good for a laugh now and then. It was cloudy, so I guess the satellites were having trouble reaching me...
Depth readings have never been a problem. The sonar works fantastic, the GPS has been marginal at best.
