| Go to the Minn Kota accessories section at Gander or wherever and pick up the package for the US2 cables. It should list on the package which units work with which cable....assuming its compatible with US2. I'd check that out first.
Or, here, made it easy for ya. I did a little hunting on MinnKota's site. Below is a link to the US2 compatibility list. Make sure you have Adobe Acrobat reader and view the chart to double check:

Assuming yours is a LCX-17M (monochrome, or in normal speak, black and white......which I think all 17s were) looks like yer in luck. | |
