Yes wot and you will trim up the motor and watch your speed . When your speed stops rising , trim down slightly and note your rpm. You want your rpm to be in the upper range of the mfg limits. (within 100-200 rpm) This is done with a light load in the boat. After you load up the boat with gear buddies ect you will drop a few hundred rpm but still be within mfg specs
