I'm a tiller guy at heart, but have enjoyed the few occasions that I've been lucky enough to be a passenger in a dual console in bad conditions. From my experience the single console gets the passenger just as wet and as cold as a tiller.

Go for a few rides in the models you are interested in. It comes down to personal preference.
