| I have a somewhat similar problem. My motor does not want to trim all the way down for some reason. I will trim it down as far as I can, then when I start moving, sometimes it will drop into place, sometimes not. It is not being hung up on anything on the sides. Seems to be a problem with the trim cylinder itself but I don't really have a clue. Also, when I trim the motor all the way up and am drifting or trolling around, the motor will slowly lower into the water like there is a pressure leak in the system. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've been running this way for a year and a half now and would love to fix it, just don't want a $500 bill from the marina.
