Yeah, the guy I brought my boat from has a switch wired in to turn the power off TO to motor because it was drawing electricity. Now I just have to turn that switch on to start my motor and use any accessories. I'm guessing Steve is right that something that's always on is wired to the motor. UNLESS this just started happening. In that case.... have fun checking wires!!
