Location: Stevens Point, WI		All the HDS units are color. The HDS-5x is just a sonar unit itself, the HDS-5m is just the gps unit and the HDS-5 is a sonar/gps unit combo.

I haven't used the Lakemaster chips personally, but have used the Navionics chips in the HDS a few times and what a difference the HDS units are compared to the older LCX units.
