that-is unless you give me the diesel option then i'd pick that for similar reasons.
for me it's longevity and i'll sacrifice some performance to get the reliability. others some gear-heads like the performance over reliability and that's why they sell sports cars and minivans too.
performance, hole-shots and top-end speed are not free ...
