The ease of stowing and deploying is worth the extra money easily. I've owned 2 powerdrives and I went through a bunch of pedals and got into alot of fights with them stowing and deploying. Owned my 80lb Terrova since they first came out, 1 pedal and still deploys with ease. Get a Ram stabilizer, and like previously stated the pedal is overated but still is comfortable to use all day. Also compared to my powerdrives is a little faster turning wise.
