I've been using the I-pilot for a couple of weeks and I would go with the terrova for that reason. The foot pedal is still functional with it and the advanced AP is better then the orginal AP. Spot lock is awesome if you want to stay on a spot, I've been sitting on 15-20 mph wind blown spots and have moved about 20-25 feet max. The track feature is good too. I had a maxxum before this motor and it was good but required constant attention for BC. The electronic aids on the terrova help improve my BC which helps me focus more on fishing.
