I had this problem on a 200V-Max and had the impeller, changed... no luck. then the impeller housing, (Which was scarred from abraision "sand") that helped, a little.... ,Then the next spring,... still the overheating....... Brought it back in and found that the popet (SP?) valuve was semi plugged,, ..Opened that sucker up, and has been fine for over a year...... It might be cheeper to start at the popet valve first.
