I spoke with my dealer today. He contacted Crestliner. They told him the 115 is fine even with my 9.9 kicker on the transom. Crestliner said that the weight is not as critical as much as the thrust the engine puts on the transom. The extra weight will probably sink the back end some, but it should be a nice motor.
