That would be 1000 MCA, or marine cranknig amps. Different from CCA, or cold cranking amps. MCA is tested at 32 degrees F, and CCA is tested at 0 Degrees F.

Opti's require 1000 MCA minimum. That's about 750 CCA. I run a dual purpose battery with my 200 Opti. Haven't had an issues since I switched to this set up. I also charge all batteries every time the boat is put up for the night.
