I'd look for a good used motor too. Check with all the dealers within an hour or 2 from you and you might be surprised what you can find.
or just fix it and keep it another year or 2 then sell the whole rig. I wouldn't suggest repowering with new unless you know you are going to keep it 5 or more yrs
