They're catching on.... Larry Dahlberg has one now. When I bought this boat from Sled he told me it was an oddity, but that every single person who had fished from it said, "wow! This boat really makes sense!" And it does. You can do just as you said, and fight a fish right down the side of the boat. You're standing as you drive so on big water your legs take the load and not your back. You're higher up so you can pick your battles in 3-4' seas, and you don't feel overrrun even in 5'ers (which is the biggest I've had this boat in). They're just awesome boats. Add that to this boat's configuration, which is a 620 hull with the bay interior and it's a hard-to-beat muskie boat. I love it.
