It'll depend on which lakes you fish. Take a look at what each chip offers in terms of the lakes that you fish. One chip might have one lake and not another. And if they have the same lakes, one might be in 1 foot contours while the other is in 3 foot contours. Take a look at that and weigh things out.

If all things are equal after that, go with Lakemaster. The Lakemaster chip should respond quicker in your unit and will also zoom in further. I have both a Navionics and Lakemaster. I usually have the Lakemaster chip in. But it depends where I'm at, sometimes my Navionics is better.
