Location: Eagle River, WI		I think you have a really cheap grease gun. I have found with some of the equipment that I own (i.e., excavators, backhoes, drill rigs) that some of the cheaper grease guns have a really hard time getting on the actual grease zerk. Sometimes it is the other way around though, and you end up having to change the zerk. I would try borrowing someone else's grease gun and seeing if it makes a difference.
