What’s the best way to winterize an Optimax. I have changed the oil and made sure that there is not any water in the engine/lower unit.
I have been told that you can’t fog it because it screws up the injectors and that I should remove the plugs and either fog the cylinders directly or put a small amount of Optimax oil in the cylinders. Then turn the engine over to disperse the oil or fogging stuff.
Does this sound right?
