Subject: Mounting rod holders

Location: Chaska MN.
Picked up a couple folbe rod holders this fall and am wondering if I can use screws to mount them or do I have to use nuts and bolts? the reason I ask is that on the passenger side of my Lund Fisherman I don't have easy access under the gunwale I.E. I would have to remove a side panel and or the rod tubes in the storage area on the other side its no problem using nuts and bolts
any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
thanks!
