I've got a 98 1900 with a 100 hp tiller.The hulls are
different,mines probably running 75 less power.The room
is wonderful.I've only had tillers is 35 years .
I would suggest a hydraulic jack plate on that hull so
you could lift for speed ,but more importantly ,bury that
prop.It might really enhance rough water handling and
ride.
In 2 footers it is a wet ride!
