Just an observation about foaming the boat; most flotation foam will eventually soak up water and get VERY heavy as a result if it's not sealed off from bilge water. If your boat rebuild allows water to sit in contact with the foam, make sure every time you take the boat out of the water you pull the plug and elevate the bow.
