Yes. However, the only way you will be able to do this successfully is if you change the HDS-7 frequency to the 83 khz transducer. If your don't change the setting and leave it at the 200 khz frequency, you'll have two units running the same frequency and that will cause interference.

If your wanting to just have both transducers on the boat for a backup, you can always stop the chart on either unit and you won't have any issues with interference that way also.
