Hi Jerome,

I think Steve Worrall hit the nail on the head. The colder temps will mean more vapor in the exhaust...

I would also ask what oil you are running...I would assume full synthetic, but if it is not, you might find a bit less smoke going that route. Not sure if the V-max series takes the same oil as a normal 2 stroke, but I believe amsoil makes a higher performance oil above their HP injector oil. The HP injector oil is really light on the smoke...burns really clean all the time, even trolling.
