| i ran mine[60 hp tiller]on rainy,wabigoon,wabaskang and several other big lakes in waves up to 4 foot.like steve said,3 foot is about the max for that hull.i always liked the way the boat handled in most any condition.it was easy to troll forward or back,like it was on a rail.overall a very stable and capable fishing platform.the only reason i switched to a 1760 was that my wife was along for the ride in 4 footers and when we made it back to the dock she said
"we need a bigger boat"! so not wanting to pee her off,i did what she said:] and got a bigger boat.now i need to take her for a ride in my truck. | |
