| A few years ago I purchased my boat that was 2 years old and still new. I think you may be surprised at what kind of deal you can get, I know I was. You have to figure that every month that dealer is sitting on that boat it is costing them money. Also at this time of year, slower for boat sales than spring, they are looking at the possibility of hanging onto it for another year, and selling a 3 year old boat. This all helps you negotiating a price. You have to try to figure what you think they have in it, make a low ball offer, and be able to walk away. My case, I made a low offer, they seemed insulted, I left, and they called me three times the next day and kept coming down and throwing some things in. I ended coming up a bit on my offer, but a very small amount in comparison to what they moved and threw in. The warranties and having it new was a big plus for me also.
