I put these adhesive backed LED lights in my 1750 Crestliner mounted around the underside of the gunnel. I cut them down to 3 LED segments and spaced about 2' . You will need to do some soldering to space them out and wire them together. I used red LED's so that the lights can be left on when navigating the boat without interfering with night vision. Also the bugs do not attract to the red lights. Really does a great job of lighting the deck up without shining in your eyes.

Photo is of the underside of the gunnel showing adhesive backed LED segment wired in (shrink tube on either side), as well as adhesive backed wire tie holders to support the wire that runs around the boat.
