Location: Southern Ontario, Detroit River and Lake StClair | Stopped for dinner on the way back from a trip to Geogrian Bay. The parking lot at the resturant was kind of full so we parked around the side which was out of our sight and against my batter judgement but we were starveing. After dinner we came jumped in and drove off. I stopped at the gas stain just up the road and after fueling I did a quick walk around to check everything before hitting the highway for the rest of the trip and........there it was.....gone. Some one had actually stolen the lower unit off our 10yr old 40hp Mariner while we were having dinner. My buddy had replacement cost for his insurance and they covered it without much of an problem.
