I have a 48" portable livewell I bought from Cabelas some years back (~$85). I use it when I fish transport tournaments. To fill it, I put a "T" into the hose from my original livewell and connected a hose. To empty it and aerate it, I use a submersable pump (~$35). If you don't want to mess around with putting a hose into your existing system, the submersable pump could be used to fill it as well. Just hang the pump over the side and put the hose from the pump into the livewell. Don't think it would be a good idea to try and lift the portable livewell when it has much water in it due to the risk of breaking the livewell.

Also, you might be able to make it permanent by replacing your original livewell with the portable one depending on the boat layout.
