Makintrax, my first boat was a 1995 Sea Nymph BT 165 with a 40 Evinrude tiller. It wasn't pretty, and it wasn't fun in big waves, but plenty of fish of all species visited it during the 5 years I owned it.
I really shouldn't be jealous - paid cash so no check to write every month. As long as the boat is reliable and gets me to where the fish are in safety and somewhat comfort I feel golden. Anything over and above that is just gravy! Probably a good idea to put my "school of hard knocks" lessons into a lesser boat anyway. |
