I took an older ('60s) 9.5hp Johnson in because I couldn't get it to run for more than a few seconds. I got a call back with an estimate for the work. He say there was plenty of spark and compression was great but it wouldn't run without the choke on and it spit a lot of fuel from the overflow. He quoted me at $350 for the work. Is this a fair price for a carb re-build?


Please tell me you didn't go to Waterwerks!!!
