Yes the guy was right. TCW-3 oil is of a higher grade (ashless) and for premix of 50:1 or 100:1. Chainsaw oil is for weed wackers and the like at 25:1 or 35:1. Change the plugs, maybe run some carb and combustion chamber cleaner through it and you should be good to go unless something went really wrong. Do cheap out on oil its the life blood of your motor. Personally I run nothing but Amsoil in my motors.
