I've got an E-TEC, a 2008 200HP. Had the choice of any motor out there and immediately rejected 4-strokes. I'll never understand why anyone would want a motor with more weight, less torque, lower top end, and more maintenance for their primary motor. My E-TEC starts faultlessly, needs no warm up, no messing with priming and choking, and talks to my gages and locator, giving me practically unlimited info on motor performance in real time. From what I can see, it uses almost the same amount of gas as my 9.9HP 4-stroke Prokicker for low speed operation so I'd not be adverse to trolling with it in certain situations, like when there is no chance of smacking rocks.

The Honda is a good motor from what I've heard too, just not for me.
