I had one blow the first day I used it three years ago. Picked up a nail somewhere and noticed it was flat while going 70 on I-94 on a 90 degree day. Tire was shot, nothing I could do. Stuff happens with tires, lots of stuff littering the roads. Make sure they are properly inflated, have enough tread and that you're not overloading them and there isn't much more you can do.
