Subject: Boat registration


Today I just bought my first boat, nothing fancy but it will finally get me on the water. I live in Illinois and was wondering what steps I need to take to get the title transferred over for the IDNR to make me legal, pay the taxes on it, and all that good stuff. I keep trying to call the DNR phone number, but I keep getting a busy signal. I bought it off a private seller. Thanks.
