Subject: buying used boat

went and looked at a used 98 traker 17ft deep v today,it looked used and stored outside but a decent price on it.The prop had some good dings on it,he said he normally fishes rivers and I know how rivers can be.The motor fired right up,just wondering what you have to worry about with a prop looking that bad,what damge could that cause to the motor,how much would it cost for a new prop for that boat.
