Thanks for the help. The only reason I bought it with a 40 horse was that the price was GREAT and I was only 25 years old and my first boat. My reason for wanting more speed is because I fish a lake that has a channel access to another great lake that is pretty far away so, top speed is what I was looking to gain. You are right it will still be a great improvement with RPM's and the 4-5 mph I should get. I have never really cared about hole shot and have never really understood why it is such a big deal. Regardless, I will talk to the marina about prop options when they rig it. Thanks again, Tom
