Well, yu never get into a tiller boat looking for it to be fast. As you know, the fishability is awesome. Also, even though you might one get 4-5 MPH better with the extra 20 hp, you might do a little better getting out of the hole, especially if you have another person or two with you and a full livewell. Also, you'll be able to cruise a little faster than you do now, or go the same speed at probably substantially lower RPMs. Top speed is far from the only benefit in upgrading the hp on a boat in my opinion. When I was looking for a Navigator, I wouldn't have considered one with a 40, would have snapped one up with a 60, and settled on a clean boat with a 50. If you ever sell it, resale will be much better, and you'll sell it a lot quicker having the motor maxed out.

I wouldn't be too disappointed with only picking up a few miles per hour.
