I hate to crush any dreams, but I think 40 out of that boat is a long shot. I run a 2000 Navigator tiller with a 50 4 stroke, and can get 32 fairly empty, and about 31 loaded heavy or with another person. I knew a guy that had one with a 60 4 stroke, and he topped out at 34 with it. Pretty good sized guy, so a light load and a smaller person might maybe see 35 in perfect conditions, but I think that would be about it.

I know another guy with a Navigator with a 60 2 stroke console and he said he's getting about 32-33.

I think 34 is about all you can expect with a 165 maxed with a 60.
