If you are really concerned about having your trailer stolen don't forget to tac weld the nut holding your ball onto the hitch. I have heard of people having there hitch locked and there hitch pin locked and the thief unscrewed the nut from the hitch and put the ball on his hitch, hooked it up to his truck and drove away with a boat and trailer.

I can't imagine getting back to the landing and having no trailer on my truck. What would you do?
