I have a 111 on the bow, a HDS10 at the console and a HDS10 at the stern. There is no interference at all - Although 2 are on most of the time. The 111 is on only when I go to Canada.

I have Lowrance in my boat, and we have Humminbird in my family fishing boat. I like the Lowrance much better. The HB is nice but it seems like a toy by the graphics and limited functions compared to the LW. The model HB that I have is about 4 years old and doesn't have the side imaging. That S.I. is pretty sweet, and may make the HB worth buying. The HDS10 is really cool, but I was disappointed that after the mapping update for Navionics and getting 2 Platinum chips that very few of the many lakes on it were in Shaded 3d relief. And of course none of the lakes I concentrate on are 3D. Also, they reverted my waters back to 5' contours. Way to Go! So basically - I love the HDS10 except for the Navionics issues. The HB I would get for the Side Imaging alone. I guess it really depends on how deep you get into your locators. If you like a lot of technical options and features / buttons, go LW, if you like a more basic package (except S.I.) go with the HB.

Of course this is just my opinion gathered by using the two over the last several years.
