That's funny my Terrova is either a little cooler or the same temp. just how you think it would be. If you really want to know which temp gauge is correct you can use a can of ice water and dunk your transducer. It should read 32 degrees, exactly freezing. (Technically it should be distilled water and cubes, but the stuff in your freezer should get you close enough)
