Well, Jason's tip of getting the holder wet with lake water seems to work, for the most part. Cut down on the pop outs quite a bit. Every once in a while I'll get a pop, but now I just keep an eye on them to see if they're sneaking up. Easy enough to see, so I just push them back down.
