check your fuel filter,spark plugs and your primer bulb. quicksilver has a gas additive called quickcleen, run this through your fuel system,it could just be a partially clogged injector. also check your impellar. if its not working properly it could cause your motor to cut out at top speed. if you have old gas in your tank run it out but still use quick cleen in a couple tanks of gas. the ethonal in gas is not very boater friendly.
