I'm a big fan of Amsoil Synthetic. I haven't owned a four-stroke yet, but this oil performs really well in my 2004 90hp Johnson. It really cut down the smoke and increased efficiency. I fish in the cold alot and it performs really well in this. No need to switch to different viscosities. Just my 2 cents.
