Subject: aluminum v-hull boat questions

hey guys, im thinking about buying a 14ft aluminum v-hull boat. the classic with the three bench seats. i have a couple questions about them though. how stable are they? i dont want the boat to tip over when i reach over the side to grab a musky out of the net or grab a bass. if i did get one of them, i would want to put a trolling motor on the front and i was looking at the motor guide bulldog trolling motor and was wondering if the 30" shaft would be enough or if there are other ways to mount a bow mount without having much to mount it to. all the ones i've seen there hasnt been much to mount it to in the front. and i dont fish on really big lakes so the biggest waves ive seen are like 1- 1.5 footers, and thats in a big wind in the middle of the lake. also, how fast could i go in one with like a 10-15hp motor? would it be stable enough to build a casting deck on top of the front bow seats? or would that put too much weight too high up?how much of a draft do most of these kind of boats have? sorry for such a long post. any answers to these question would help. thanks!!
