I don't know if it'll take care of the stink, but in terms of stain remover on marine carpeting, I've found nothing more effective than a spray cleaner called "spot shot" -- this stuff is amazing. It lifted a black grease stain that has been on my carpet for 10 years! I've found nothing that this stuff won't eliminate!
