Dewman, I too have an '87 Tuffy Rampage 160XT with a 50HP Evinrude tiller. I purchased the boat about 10 years ago. I added the CMC power tilt/trim unit after I purched the boat. The perfomance was a bit better but the convenience is awesome and I highly recommend it. I also added a foot controlled trim switch which made life even easier. I am currently rebuilding my rig so you should see some pics posted in a couple of months.
