I posted this on Walleyefirst too, but wanted to make sure I got a broad audience (didn't know how many frequent both boards)....

I'm thinking of adding a kicker to my 1750 Fishhawk for trolling, and looking for opinions / suggestions.
I'm not looking for something to keep me out in 2-4 footers (I'll head for dock before taking on more than I need to for a fish). Just something to keep me in the 1.0 - 2.0 mph range without adding a ton of weight and spending a ton of money.
I've seen some good deals on 4-strokes in the 4-6hp range... Would a 4hp 4 stroke work for me in the above setting? I also like the idea of the 4hp since it has the built-in tank (can also tie into main gas line) and I could use it on my jon boat too.
